vegetarian french onion pizza

inspired by the soup!

allow pizza dough to sit at room temperature for 20 minutes while the oven pre-heats and you caramelize your onions.

sauté onions for 20-30 minutes, or until caramelized and golden brown. add remaining ingredients and sauté an additional 3-5 minutes or until jammy.

shape pizza dough into a 10-12 inch circle, spread a bit of olive oil across the top, and layer cheese and caramelized onions. bake for 12 minutes, let cool slightly, and enjoy!
