make an easy balsamic reduction on the stove top! bring vinegar to a gentle boil before reducing to a simmer until thickened.

spread butter on one side of each bread slice, then layer on sliced figs, provolone cheese, and a drizzle of the balsamic reduction.

cook over medium heat for 3-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown. drizzle with more balsamic and enjoy!
