chicken marsala shepberd's pie

total comfort food!

first, simmer potatoes for 15 minutes before draining, mashing and mixing in half and half, parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper.

while potatoes are boiling, make the chicken marsala in a large non-stick pan. transfer the marsala to a prepared baking dish, top evenly with the potatoes, and bake for 18-20 minutes.
