blackberry hazelnut crisp

this unique crisp perfectly fuses the flavors of blackberry and hazelnut and is best served with plenty of ice cream!

begin by adding dry roasted hazelnuts to a food processor and pulse until it becomes a meal. reserve half cup.

continue pulsing remaining hazelnut meal until it becomes nut butter! the whole process takes 1-2 minutes.

in a prepared baking dish, combine fresh or frozen blackberries with hazelnut butter and a few more ingredients.

use clean hands to make a crumble with oats, hazelnut meal, butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

top blackberry mixture with oat crumble and bake for 35-40 minutes. serve with vanilla ice cream and ENJOY.
